Heels on Wheels
Steering clear from the traditional lycra set up, Heels on Wheels was an event designed to demonstrate that you really can look good on a bike!
Taking place at the stylish Hawke’s Bay Opera House and compered by Miss New Zealand, the event showcased outfits provided by local fashion retailers and worn by volunteer models cycling on a catwalk. A fun event but with a serious message – cycling really is for everyone, and not just the lycra-clad sports person!
