Tour de iWay Sunday 29 July 2012
Yes, it’s a blatant play on the Tour de France, but who said we couldn’t have our own bike event in Hastings?
On Sunday 29 July get the bike out, the kids out and yourself out to this iWay event celebrating the completion of the Hastings to Havelock North pathway.
Our mayor, Lawrence Yule will officially open the pathway at 11am where you’ll be led on an 8km bike ride utilising the new pathway.
There will be spot prizes up for grabs including two new super deluxe cruisers (bikes).
Meet at the Strawberry Patch at 10.30am to be entertained by Martin and Sarah from Classic Hits, and indulge in some hot dogs, strawberries, ice cream and freshly brewed coffee.
The kids can also be entertained on the bouncy castle.
Be sure to park your cars in Hastings or Havelock North and bike down to the Strawberry Patch as there is no parking available.
See you there – oh and remember, dress up in fancy dress to be in to win a prize for the best dressed!
