This great event organised by The Breeze radio station starts (and finishes) at Tareha Reserve in Taradale. After heading out along the stop banks of the Tutaekuri river to Awatoto, you'll follow the pretty Pacific coast out to Clifton where you can stop and grab refreshments before heading back. All gates will be open along the route so this will be a super-easy, fun ride.
Hawke's Bay Trails' highlights along the way include the Ātea a Rangi/Star Compass, the quaint coastal communities of Clive, Haumoana and Te Awanga, and some world-class wineries – Clearview, Elephant Hill and Te Awanga. Download a copy of the route map here.
Bring your own ebike or hire one from the Hawke’s Bay Trails’ official partners. This ride isn't exclusive to ebikes, so if you want to enter under your own pedal power, please do!
